Why Oligarchs Can’t End Oligarchies
The term “oligarchy” is often mentioned in Philippine politics. Very recently, Representative Mike Defensor used it in Congressional hearings on the renewal of the ABS-CBN franchise, in reference to ABS-CBN owners (the Lopez family).
